Exclamation Free Layer Mask Tool for Photoshop Elements

Not being an Elements user myself, I did not know this until I stumbled across a post that stated Photoshop Elements has a mask tool in adjustment layers only. Since masking is such a wonderful thing to be able to do whenever you need/want to, I thought I'd share this...

Default Thanks LPutman

I have Photoshop Elements 6 and for 80 bucks you get a heck of a lot of post processing tools, including a great way to work with RAW images.

does that mean I can use my RAW images in Photoshop Elements? I'm getting the message that they're incompatible files...is there something I'm doing wrong? I end up converting them to JPEG on my camera and then transferring them to my computer...

This is a Layer Mask Tool to be worked on with images that are already opened in Elements. If you do a search on the forum, the question has been posed previously about Elements and RAW files; I don't use Elements myself so I really don't know the answer.

Dragging up an old thread. Sorry.

Just wanted to ask did anyone download this? and if so does it work/is it any good?

I wanted to have a go but the file path they list to put the files for PSE6 on Vista does not exist so could not try it
