Default I can't fix the sky

I'm super frustrated...I can't bring back the detail in the sky without making everything wonky. The sky was not blown in the original shot, so what do I do to fix it? I use LR4 and have Elements 11 (though I've never used it)

And what's the best way to clone out that car?

Re thhe car - Does Elements 11 have a clone tool?

Re the sky - if it wasn't blown out in the original what did you do when PPing to blow it out?
Do you, in LR4, have the highlight cliping indicator activated ("J" on a PC) or click on the indicators in the histogram in the develop module?
Otherwise just do selective adjustments (I like to do this outside of LR)

Try using the selection brush in LR4 and highlight all of the sky. It will probably select some of the surrounding parts of the image, so hold ALT and then deselect those with the brush. I would then drag the highlights all the way down and see how much you can recover.

I'm gonna be different here: I like it. The bright white counters the dark in the opposite corner.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm working on figuring out PS.

Glad you like it Osmosis. I like it too, I just wish there was some texture to the sky!
