Just made a Little Big Planet.. how to remove sun glare from left section?

How would I go about removing or blending in the sun glare in my little big planet picture of my community college? Everything stitched together well, but I had a glare in my main building picture going in to the next picture (counter clockwise) with the trees. How do I blend the glare in well to make it look naturally gradient or remove it all together?

also: side note, how do i allow my original-size pictures to be downloaded on flickr? I have no idea!

select the glare using a soft brush while on quickmask. Exit quicmask and use curves or levels to darken and match the other areas. Also use the clone tool to add details to the left bottom trees and to lessen the blur on the edges.
