Is there a way to bulk add text in Lightroom 3 or Photoshop cs4?

I did a senior portrait session for a friend and they are wanting the word Senior, or her name or initials on most of the pics at least as a copy for wallet sizes. I have Lightroom3 as well as Adobe Photoshop CS4, I was wondering if there was a way to add the text in bulk without having to add to each photo. I have messed with watermark in lightroom, but never saw it on the actual picture before, I guess I am doing it wrong. I appreciate any help anyone can give me.

You can do it in either. LR will probably be easiest.
For PS, you'd create a text layer and copy it. You can do that in a bulk action.
In LR you'd create a watermark in the print module. It will put the mark on every image you select and export. Unlike PS, you don't need to make an additional copy if you want to keep one without the mark..
In either case, unless you intercede, it will put the watermark in the same location regardless of image size or orientation.
