Default Scanned slides have bluish tones

Hi everyone

I decided I'd like to scan some of my slides to have prints from a trip many years ago. So far the photos have this bluish tint. I'm guessing Photoshop (CS2) can help, but can anyone steer me to a Tutorial for this please.

Samples:
Tower Bridge

Tower of London from the Thames

One is way worse than the other. No idea what the camera was - possibly an Olympus 35mm.

What are you using to scan them? That's the likely culprit.

Canon scanner. More recent scans look better - it's mainly those London ones.

Most canon scanners come with a twain scanner driver I forget the name I have it with my multifunction machine but in its advanced mode it has about a million different options including some colour correction tools using the prewiew option and these tools you could create a profile for the london shots and use this to scan those slides to correct the colour during scanning.

Thanks - yes it does have a Twain driver. I've pretty much decided not to worry about them, as they are poor shots, back in the days of a little instamatic camera I think :-), or may have been an Olympus 35mm, but can't remember when I bought that camera in relation to when I took the photos.
