Default Looking for help with photo editing

I took this picture a few weeks ago during a night time football game with lots of bright over head lights and didn't have a tripod (I know, a no no), so had some issues with shakes and lighting and so forth.

At any rate, I'm looking for some photo editing software (preferrably free).

Along with the software, I'm looking on some advice/instruction on how to correct this picture to make it at least more presentable (i.e. no blurring).

Do you have other shots that are the same girls and post? When shooting in less than desirable conditions I always shoot in triplicate.

I believe GIMP is free, and many people like it. I have PS, so I go with that.

I don't think you are going to have much luck. It is very difficult to fix motion blurring even with the most sophisticated software, much less with basic photo editing software. As far as good cheap or free editing software - Photoshop Limited Edition comes bundled with a lot of printers and scanners and is one of the better basic options.

I have to agree, that one would be nearly impossible to fix blur wise... If you have other shots of the girls I can switch their heads out, lol

Next time, kick your ISO up to at least 400, that will allow you to have a faster shutter speed.

Thanks much for the quick replies.

I have learned since taking those pictures, about remembering to use the ISO and all of those other good tips.

I'm still working on trying to figure out all of my camera settings and what to use when and all of that good stuff.

Thanks for the advice about the photo editing programs. I might have to try to play around some a couple of them and see how they work.
