Noob question

Hello everyone.

This is my first post here, of hopefully many more. I recently took photos of my family and now I am charged with getting that "professional" look. I suppose that means vignettes, or some other editing that is done by more experienced persons. I use paint shop pro x3, and was wondering if anyone could help me with borders, vignettes, and any other tricks.

That's a whole lot of info you're looking for... I'd say your best bet is to just google each task you want to learn... so say you're starting with a vignette, google "make vignette" "paint shop pro"

You'll find lots of great tutorials, and most of them are written for beginners

I guess what I am trying to figure out is what are the most common types of editing done for portrait type pictures? From there I could google each type and figure out how to do it.

I would say sharpening of the eyes the most crucial to me and having the correct colors.

I use Paintshop Pro X2, and I find You tube quite helpful
