Question Watermarks in Lightroom 3

I downloaded the 30 trial of lightroom 3. I've followed instructions and have tried different fonts, sizes, and colors and I cannot get the watermark to show on my pictures. They are however showing when I make a video slide. How can I get them to appear on my pictures?

You have to export them...
Create the watermark
in the export dialog select the check box to add the watermark
export

Yeah, that's what I've been doing and it doesn't show up.

...and you created the watermark in the watermark editor...not the identify plate in the print module...

then I don't know why it is not working...

Just curious, is it LR3, or LR3.2? apparently 3.2 has a bug where watermarks aren't being exported

It is LR 3.2 ... Is there any other way to add a watermark?

I'm not sure. I've been reading on a LR forum where some people say it's certain fonts being used that LR is having bugs with, and others say it might be filesize. I'll post a link to the forum below where they're trying to work it out. I'll keep looking around as well to see if I can find anything new on it.

I have LR 3.2 and don't have issues inserting watermark. It may be a font thing like soldier said.

I had LR 3.2 before I upgraded to 3.3, but I never noticed the bug because I was using an image as a watermark. You can try creating the watermark signature you want to use in Photoshop, and then using that in LR. If it's the bug that I've been reading about, you'll skip that problem. If it still doesn't work, then you know there's a bigger problem going on.
