Hi everyone, I am learning how to use the photoshop recently.
and now I have a Beginner's Question.... how do I know if a photo is processed with photoshop or not? for example, I saw this photo Photobuyer: Spring in Tokyo the lighting in this photo seems little bit weird. I am suspecting that he used photoshop. but, how do I know the truth without asking that person. is there a way to know? |

Simple answer you don't. If they are good and not over-the-top then you won't notice and that's the point. Most photographers will do some post-processing after the shot, sharpening, levels, whitebalance, exposure, lens-distortion correction etc.
But to me, the image looks ok, just with a lot of blown highlights. Maybe purposefully bumped up the exposure in post? Who knows. If you're so interested, you should ask

Either Lynda or Kelby Training. The fast way is to pay. If you have more time than money, Kelby has weekly shows that will give you tips for free, but they're scattershot rather than a focused learning path.
