Hi there, I'm new to this forum and absolutely love the forum and the school site itself. I have a macbook and Photoshop elements 4. However, I have always struggled with learning how to use this programme. I don't find the manual very user friendly and because it is now an old version find tutorials on the web few and far between.
Does anybody have any ideas about this ? I have thought about going to some photoshop classes or maybe even buying some new software. All comments welcome.

Google is your friend
![]() There is so many tutorials for processing programs on the net, both free and for small cost. Dedicated sites, videos etc. Why not start with Adobe.com ?

I'd just go straight to adobe. They have dedicated sections for tutorials on all products. It's how I got past the learning curve of LR3. Mostly they just have the basics, but after you know those, more complicated stuff can just be worked out, or sent to youtube/google

+1 for Adobe.com
+a lot for upgrading. IMHO (as a former user of PSE 4) Its way outdated. The current versions of Picasa and GIMP (both FREE) have more features and are easier to use.
