Default Photoshop And Lightroom

I can't image so many people actually buying the expensive photoshop and lightroom, I have always gotten it at jobs or from people but have no contacts that have it now can someone please share with me how to get photoshop and lightroom?

The best (cheapest) is through a student discount. If you are a student, it's a slam dunk. I believe if you enroll in some continuing education classes at a hs/Jr College/College you would also be considered a student. You would have to check the rules.

Also a lot of folks go with PS elements and not CS5 because of price.

But even without that...in the big picture it's no more expensive than a good lens.

Yip the student route if you qualify is the cheapest dont know if you need lightroom in photoshop is fine for most stuff.

I bought PS Elements on sale with a rebate -- ended up being about 1/2 retail price. Several months later, Adobe sent me an offer to buy Lightroom for about 1/3 retail price. Between the two of these, I consider this money well-spent.

"from people"? What does that mean?

Sounds dangerously close to asking for less-than-legal means to get the software if you ask me.

If not, look for people selling their older versions (LR was on sale on Amazon.co.uk just recently) and otherwise look at ebay or other places like craigslist, etc.
