Default How do I remove all this red from PS RAW?

May someone please help me out? Whenever I open up a RAW image in Photoshop Raw these red spots come out. How do I stop that from happening?

That's your blown highlight warning. You can turn it off, I believe, by clicking the little white triangle on the right side of your histogram.

You can also use the Recovery and Exposure sliders to pull the intensity of the highlights back until you don't have completely blown out sections of images. (If pure white works for the image, you don't need to worry about it.)

Stop overexposing.

Look at your histogram; the majority of your image is blown out beyond repair. For scenes with this much dynamic range, you're either going to have to use HDR (not a good idea when moving subjects are involved) or expose for the background and use an off camera flash to expose the foreground.

You wanna know something funny? When I first started editing these overexposed images I started using HDR effects lol, but okay makes sense to me now. Thanks!

You say HDR "effects". By that, do you mean actually merging multiple exposures?

I suggest you may want to buy a cook on Camera Raw...maybe one that includes photoshop as well. Although ACR isnt a massively complicated program to use, without knowing what things do you may even make a pictue worse instead of better.

good luck
