Question How do I get these results?

JDhilger photo of disneyland

I think he might be using multiple shots to remove all the people but I'm not sure.
He has an exposure of 2.5, did he take multiple shots at 2.5 and Photoshop them together?

Re no people.

From the exif.

Taken on November 29, 2009 at 12.34am PST

Probably after the park closed for general admission.
Also read the thread on the picture, for the answer..

Re the lights looking a little bit like "stars".

Good quality lenses with more, aperture blades, when stopped down a bit do that.

Example with a Canon 24-105 F4 L (8 aperture blades) @ F8

Two bridges at dusk.

in the comments below the image he states the park was closed.

"If you look at the time of the shot, you'll see the park was technically closed (Main Street still open). I'm fairly certain I was the last person to leave that night. That, plus doing a long exposure eliminated any stragglers that walked by. I didn't need to clone anything out, thankfully."

The photographer seems pretty open to answering questions on the shot. Why not post your question on the page and get the actual answer rather than speculation?

I had asked him about questions by private message. But I can't believe I didn't see that in the comments. I never looked at this picture particular one's comments until I posted it.

Thank you all so much for your help. Now I just need to get friends in high places at disneyland XD
