I need to pick everyone's brains.
Every link I've followed today of someone saying this is THE program to use, has been a link to a programme intended for Photoshop C5 or is a .exe file. So - question is I think fairly self-explanatory, but it is this: Are there any downloadable (preferably free) programs that let you 'spiral' photos akin to "Mathmap" or "Photospiralisis" that will work on an intel-based Imac running Photoshop Elements? Thanks DPS-users! Richard |

What OSX version are you running? If you're pre-Snow Leopard, you could use Mathmap Cocoa.
And if you have an iPhone, there's an app for that.

Not sure if there plugin works with Elements. But the Pixel Bender Toolkit itself is standalone and you can load image in there, open the droste filter and "build & run" the script. Then you can fiddle with it just like in Photoshop. Then just save the image and open in Photoshop.

Ah! I had misunderstood that. Thanks for the clarification.
So with Pixelbender, can I do the kind of mini-planets that Inksta has as their profile pic? I was looking at another panoramic-stitching software last night PTgui. Lots of great ideas - shall need to rob a bank or something to fund it all - so I think it's about building up the tool kit in small increments. |
