Default Portrait professional 10 question

Has anyone used this software. I see it advertised everywhere. It seems user friendly. Im taking a few family portraits and would like to touch up a little. I use elements 9 on most of my images.

Download the free trial and check it yourself.
It does a decent job but like anything you can make it go over the top. They have a user forum and to see some of the ghoulish attempts reinforces the old saying that a little bit goes a long way.
The other popular software for portraits is Portraiture 2" from Imagenomics
Imagenomic - Best Plugins for Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Apple Aperture

I'd downloaded both Portrait Professional and Portraiture. Imagenomic is the one that got my money - I hated Portrait Professional and absolutely LOVE Portraiture. That one is also easy to go over the top with, but I run it at a very low threshold, on it's own layer, and reduce the opacity of the layer.

I use portrait professional and I think it's a pretty fair value. It's easy to overcook the photos, but as long as you use a light hand and an eye towards realism, the results can be very good.
