Hello fellow photographers! Attaching a shot of me on a recent trip to work in an orphanage. Would anyone be able to help me out with smoothing out the double chin? I am admitedly not the best at editing

Quick question? Did this person ask you to smooth it out? Or is this just for personal know how? Personally, I think this lady is as cute as a button, and I really don't constitute that as a double chin. It's more of a smile crease to me.

Personal opinions aside, what type of editing program do you have? That would be a good place to start.

Edit: Just noticed that said it is a shot of YOU! Anyway, my opinion still applies, but I will still help if I can. We will still need to know what program you are using.

Here is what i did, just using layers and the smudge tool at a very low opacity. I just built up the strength of the smudge until it looked natural. Then I used the clone tool just under the chin, using the baby's head as the source. This was also very light and low opacity.
Like I said, you have a nice face, and there really is nothing I would change.

I could probably do a better job with a higher resolution image. Zooming in to 100% on this one makes it all pixelated.
Hope you like it!
