Default Photo Books

I'm looking to do a photo book for a friend leaving and an organization I'm with. What sites make a good photo book, I'm also looking to do one with a picture cover professional and nice.

Any suggestions?

my very favorite photographer recommends Blurb for photo books. she really knows image quality, so i would trust her judgement 100%. though i did see one complaint about Blurb, i'm not able to remember what the complaint was. it has a great interface for designing the books, but i've not yet ordered one. because i'm broke, lol.

i have used Snapfish before for my own "personal" snap-shotty sort of prints. they've always been excellent quality for what i need, and they offer a whole bunch of photo products (seriously, everything) so i would imagine their photobooks would be great, too.

i think the deal with photobooks is you need to have the high-res shots in order to get good results, which i'm sure you already knew.

depends on the quality you're needing, though. i don't think i would use something like Blurb or Snapfish for a clients Wedding Album or anything like that. but like i said i've never actually received any photobooks from either Blurb or Snapfish.

as for cover design, if you know Photoshop, you can do up a cover yourself!

You can also get them made at Cosco for about $25.00 each.

I got a couple nice photobooks from Amazon, arrived at my doorstep seemingly instantly.
