I recently added Zenfolio to my website ~ sarahkdavisphotography.com so I wanted to calibrate my monitor with Mpix's. I just assumed it would be very easy, kind of an automatic thing it did on it's own I guess. *L*
So I can't find what they're talking about in the directions, and I'm on the 1st step! How pathetic is that?! ![]() • Set your monitor to 5000 degree Kelvin as the display temperature. 5000 degrees is chosen because it is closest to daylight. • Using the button/dial on the monitor adjust the contrast between 90 and 100%. Most people find that 100% is the desired range. Cannot find anything that talks about Kelvin, display temp, or adjusting degrees. Tried looking it up online, and still couldn't figure it out. And maybe it's because "I'm" not set at the right degrees, but I checked out the Contrast (step 2) just to see, and I now have mine set at 70. Any more than that, and it was blowing out all my menus and everything, it looked so weird. Does anyone actually have their contrast set at 100?? So if anyone has done this before and has any pointers, I'd really appreciate it, thanks!! Sarah |
