LR2 to LR3 Import

Hi Everyone,

Sometime back I downloaded the LR3 trial, and brought in my LR2 catalog to test out the new features. Once the trial period ran out, I continued doing work in LR2. I finally got around to purchasing LR3, and I would like to bring over the work I did in LR2 while the LR3 trial was expired.

Should I just delete the LR3 catalog and reimport from LR2? Or is there some way to fill in this gap?

After you have installed, it should ask you if you want to upgrade from LR2 catalogs to LR3.

Backup before you do it, but it should work fine, just like that.

Thanks for the response. Actually, I had already installed LR3, so I was past that point. I made subsequent changes in LR2 and was hoping to bring those over.

I should have known LR can handle this seamlessly. The 'Import From Catalog...' option handles this situation wonderfully in case anyone comes across this in the future.
