Half way through calibration on my 226bw, i get this message pop up ... (Adjust brightness (Back light) until the current value is within 4% of the target.

so did you adjust the brightness and rerun the calibration and every time the error comes up?

They have excellent response time on their technical/user emails. I think I had my question answered in less than 24 hrs.

(sorry for not responding sooner...)
Your monitor should have at minimum a brightness and contrast control - the adjustment they are calling for is done through the user setting on your monitor.

if thats not it, i'd contact their tech assistance because I am not sure what else it could be...controls on my monitor where the only adjustments I had to make during calibration - after that the program and spyder did everything...
