Default 7. Photoshop CS4 Extended Student Edition

Hi,

Is there any difference between Photoshop CS4 Extended Student Edition with actual Photoshop CS4?

Thanks

The difference lies where it's CS Extended vs CS normal. With those two there is a difference.

The "student' part is just that, it's supposed to only be sold to students. I believe you have to prove you're a student to get the discount.
So, PSCSE vs PSCS WILL have differences.
PSCS and PSCS Student, NO difference.
Hope that helps?

EDIT - I believe that the "student" version only allows for you to install on ONE pc.. but I'm not sure about that.

There's no difference, in terms of functionality, between the academic version and the regular version of Adobe software. The only restriction to using the academic version is that you have to prove you are eligible to purchase it, and you may not re-sell it. Other than that there's no difference.

Technically the student edition is also not to be used for commercial purposes too.

There's nothing in the license that precludes you from using it for commercial purposes. I thought the same thing, so I asked Adobe and they confirmed that as long as you have the right to purchase it under the academic license you can use it however you wish.

Must have been in my older version (CS2) then. I remember seeing it on the box or in the install procedure or the Adobe license they email you. Either way, nice to know
