I feel your pain! When I first downloaded gimp, it was like trying to read a foreign language. Then I found picnik. Finally, I actually enjoyed the post-processing because it was really easy to use, and I got some really fun results. I think what really matters is that you are happy with the results of your photos, no matter what program you use. Personally, I eventually outgrew picnik and wanted more creative freedom, which I found with Gimp.
I would say to enjoy picnik, but don't give up on Gimp (or other editing programs). I recommend Meet the Gimp and Iffles. Each have some really great tutorials to help you learn Gimp. Good luck! |
