PS, PSE & Lightroom???

I'm new to the photoshop world and was wondering what the diff is b/t the PS, PSE and Lightroom programs. I already have CS3, it was given to me recently, but am having trouble figuring out how it works. I've heard that Lightroom is easier for beginners in photo editing, but if I already have CS3 do I really need the other??

lightroom and PS are different animals, different tools although both can do editing. There are plenty of threads on this topic, use the search function and read a few threads then ask some more questions if needed...
