I recently purchased a Canon T2i which takes pictures at 18 megapixels, and I'm having trouble editing some of my pictures because they're "too large". Am I doing something wrong or is there a good editing software that I should be using? If anyone has advice to give, I'd be more than grateful.

This sounds more like a computer problem than a camera/file problem. What kind of computer do you have (specifically, RAM, OS, and anything else you think could be important) and what software are you using to edit your photos? Gary

Your camera may have a setting where you can reduce the size of the photos. Instead of Super HQ, you can shoot in HQ, a smaller file. Also, your editing program should allow you to zoom in and out of your photos to make them more manageable while working on them. Hope this helps. |
