Default My work going to be in a gallery need advise.

I am having trouble finding out what paper to use for prints and was hoping someone who has done this could offer up some suggestions about paper and or places to get prints done as I'm looking for good quality.Or any other info also.
This is the scenario,A very nice gallery in town supports local artists on a wide range of styles and they only have photos a few times a year,so I'm not the only photographer to be shown ...I think theres 4 of us.
They approved my pics for the showing,I have the contract and am in the process of getting good prints,my sizes are 16x20(frame) and guessing I need 11x14 prints after matting.
This is my first time so be gentle.lol and I appreciate your help kuz there is great talent on this site!

if there are printers in your area that does giclee prints, i think this will serve the purpose since you will be exhibiting in an art gallery. it is a bit expensive.

I used to work at a digital printing company that offered glossy, matte and pro lustre (or luster) prints and I thought the pro lustre was the best. It seemed to combine a little bit of the shiny quality of the glossy paper with the textured surface of a matte print.

I have not seen the giclee prints.

I was on a similar situation a while back when one of my pictures was selected for an exhibition at a local art show. Someone recommended that I used Adorama for the printing. I am glad I did.
I ended up ordering an 11X14 picutre on metalic paper. It came out great.
It cost me around $10 including shipping.
What I liked about their services is that they calibrate the colors (unless you have a calibrated monitor to see the pictures you take, there will alwasy be some distortions and you will noticed it when you print them) You can also select the type of paper, and they do have a great variety.
I'm not sure how much time you have, but you can try with one of your pictures and if you like the results, you can order the rest from them.

Delighted to hear it!

BTW I'm only an email away if you ever need advice or after-sales support with any order from AdoramaPix, or Adorama Camera.
