I have used it.... I am not a huge fan. Over does face sculpting etc. Not bad for a quick and painless fix, but I am getting better at photoshop everyday, and I think for the most part I will stick with CS5 and do my own work.
I do use FX for shooting on green screen, and yes it is very easy to use and does a good job. Much easier than PS.

I've done some blue / green screen work and I don't really recommend it in most cases. It rarely looks as good as "the real thing."
Portrait professional is too general and blunt as an instrument. It doesn't compare to individual retouching steps done in PS. |

I agree with Scott that Portrait Professional over-sculpts. It's too easy to make people look freakish, lol. I use Imagenomic's Portraiture and love it. You can download a free two-week trial of it.
Never have tried any background software, though. |

I use Portrait Professional, and have done for some time (each new version gets better and better). I agree with other comments that it over-sculpts and over-processes, but I've found that it only does that if you let it make its own decisions. Personally, I start by backing all the controls back to zero, and gradually tweak up from there. I also always make sure that I have the "Before/After" view, so that I can easily see when I've let myself drift too far away from the original image.

I use both Portrait Professional and Portraiture.
Portraiture does not do any individual feature sculpting. It’s great for group shots. Portrait Professional is best if one actually has a high-res portrait to work on. Being able to adjust every feature, individually and quickly is a plus. Over sculpting and smothing is entirely within the control of the user. It’s rather like HDR. The photo can look great or it can look weird, depending on who does the processing. I often use both programs with Photoshop. The both have their uses. |

Both Portrait Professional and FXhome Photokey will be releasing new versions very shortly. You may want to hold off on any purchases.

Thank you for the feed back, looks like everyone has their personal preference i guess as goes with everything. There is oen that was mentioned that i will check out as well.
I wonder when the new version will be coming out? I currently have NO software so of course still trying to learn, thought this would be a quick fix to things until i learn more on the other version of software out there before i jump into that since they all seem fairly costly. Thanks guys!
