Hello everyone!
I am new to digital photography so I have some "newbie" questions about post processing Sry for the inconvenience! ![]() Being a biochemist by trade, every experiment has steps that need to be performed in a certain flow ti get the wanted end result. So I need to: 1) Remove vignetting 2) Remove noise from high ISO 3) Post process So I guess the order of the steps should be 2; 1; 3? What software would you recommend for removing the slight issue in steps 1 and 2? Thanks!

If you shoot and edit in raw it doesn't make any difference which dials you fiddle with first.
With pixel based stuff I'd say do larger edits first and work your way to smaller ones. Usually ending up with sharpening. Bigger stuff are the like of white balance and levels/curves etc that really visibly affect the whole image. Removing vignette and noise is part of post processing ;P Photography isn't an exact science. Try out different workflows and pick the one that suits you best. For the steps one and two and pretty much all the rest I'd recommend Lightroom.

You'll do #1 and #2 in your RAW editor, so that's one stop. The rest of your "post processing" is also done in RAW and in PS.
