Hi,
I have a K100D (6MP) and I am hoping at some point to build up some photos that I can have printed quite large, with a view to getting myself some self-produced art for my wall. What sort of size print would I be able to go up to with this camera before the resolution started to look poor? I know it depends shot-to-shot because of settings etc. but i'm more after ball-park sizes than anything else. The site qoop.com has sizes up to 30x40 and I wondered whether or not my camera would be able to achieve prints that size? I've no idea what size i'll eventually plump for, but any input/experience of printing from a similar quality camera at large sizes would be excellent.

Photography Printing Guide
This is a pretty good guide to what sizes you can print with various resolutions at different ppi. Now, if you go somewhere that uses good software to enlarge the print, you'll probably be able to go bigger than what this site suggests. I've heard of plenty of people getting say 20x30 prints off a 6MP d50.
