Default Photomatrix OR Photoshop ??

Which one is better to make HDRs??

I have Photoshop CS2..
I dont find it much useful!!
It does not give a HDRish look but just corrects the image..
(HARish is my name)

Photomatix will give you better results for HDR, but Photoshop is considerably more versatile.

Use both, photomatix to tonemap the HDR file and photoshop to for final touch ups.

/\ agree with the above, photomatix to compile and photoshop to do the final touch ups. Photoshop HDR's are not good.

Same here, plus Photoshop for special, advanced editing.

Photoshop has a large learning curve, while Lightroom and Photomatix do not.

It's always something, isn't it? Someone once said a boat is a hole in the water you pour money into.

Whoever said that about boats, probably was never into photography. At least with a boat, you manage to keep your head above water.

Nik Software's HDR Efex Pro is the best. Try the 15 day trail and you will agree.
