I see spots!
I'd read that thread and maybe get in touch with the poster if you don't find enough advice there. |

Sure.
I duplicated the layer then inverted the image and changed the mode to difference..flattened and duplicated again changed mode to hard mix and then desaturated the image a bit... A little more work might be in order, but it's savable.

![]() make a new layer on top of the image and change the blending mode to color burn. with a soft brush, 8-10% opacity, varying size, brush the area with haze till the haze is gone. flatten. duplicate image and apply high pass filter set to radius 2, set the blending mode to overlay. this will sharpen the edges and slightly increase contrast. flatten, save. |

wow! very simplified way of editing and improving the photo. TFS!

I'd go about it with curves adjustment layer.
I created one such layer with quite a strong s curve. Then inverted the mask to black. Then it's just matter of brushing those areas whiter where the haze appears. If the layer isn't enough you can always duplicate it and bring down opacity etc. I like to use 20% opacity for the brush, too much clicking with <10%.
