Default Photoshop & RAW

Hello All,

How do I import RAW images into Photoshop. Ihave my camera set to take both raw and jpegs. I'm not too sure but I think I might have somethingon my discs that came with the camera, Bridge or something.

Thank you as always,

Best wishes
Graeme

Not sure what do you mean by importing your images in Photoshop.

You can preview and organize your RAW images in Bridge, and you open them in Photoshop (in Adobe Camera Raw plug-in first) for editing.

you need to open the RAW files in Adobe Camera RAW (or lightroom or something first) then do what you want in there, convert to a Jpeg, then go for you life in 'photoshop'

Hello All,
Thank you for your help.

If I install bridge on my PC, is it right to open the raw files in thee and then import them to Photoshop?

Best wishes

You can import images from your camera with Bridge: file-get pictures from camera
or you can import them a variety of other ways then point Bridge to the file location.
Once you see the image you want to edit in Bridge you can simply double click on it and it will open in PS. You can also right click on the image or select the image and use the top menu to open it in PS.
