Default Need help decided between Lightroom and CS

Hello. I currently use an old version of Photoshop Elements and was wanting to get something more robust. I have, over the last year, developed more and more skills using the layers on Elements and don't really want to relearn a bunch of things. The thing that attracted me to lightroom was the noise reduction. Does CS have a way to do this as easily as it sounds in Lightroom? Plus I am thinking about starting to shoot in RAW. Which program handles this the best?

CS and LR are two different animals with some common functionality. CS is more powerful and in fact Adobe camera raw comes with CS so you have all the tools of develop module of LR. CS lacks the organizational tools of LR as well as the easy to use functions LR has in the Print, Web, & Slideshow modules.
