Default watermarking

Hi, I've looked on your site and on the internet for some downloads that deal with watermarking your photos and resizing at the same time. I'm more concerned with the watermarking aspect, as I already have a program to resize, but if I can get two at the same time, that would be great. I want to find free and easy, if possible. I have never watermarked before, so I don't want a complicated download. Ya'll are so wonderful with all your help. Below are some I found listed on the internet. I realize some are not free, but I'd rather free until I find I need something better. Any suggestions on the below programs?

I just made a custom brush to watermark and have an action that resizes and sharpens for web. Easy and free.

Photoshop CS2. Do you have an editing program? I used to use Elements 7 and was able to make a custom brush in that, also.

If I want to create a custom brush for watermarking, is it possible to use a PNG image?

Do you have a guild on how to create one?

Thanks!
