I have a 4x5 Graphire tablet that I've rediscovered (from the bottom of a series of boxes) and I've been getting used to it again. My worries though come from more serious fashion portrait editing (mainly).
Does anyone have any tutorials or resources I could try to get back into the thick of things. I only do minimal editing, but it might be fun to give it a shot.

If you don't need brush often then tablet probably won't bring much to you.
But if you wish to use it I recommend just using it daily. For everything. Yes it's a pain to surf the web with it but that gets you in the habit of using it. I find that the hardest thing is to overcome the fact that it's not a pen. Sure it looks like it but the feel is different so that's the thing to work on. What comes to precision with the thing pretty effective method is to create a grid and draw circles inside it. Sounds stupid and pointless but it works. But then again just using the darned thing will get you familiar with it again. I find it more useful if I use it a lot. If I just use it on occasion I get the thing done faster with a mouse.
