I tend to work "down" the panes on the rt side...wb is at the top, sharpening at the bottom...I think it's set up this way for a reason. (?) Makes sense to me.

WB is probably the first thing I do... mostly since it's first in the "list". Cropping might nudge its way on the first spot but that's about it.
I work my way usually from larger (more visible) edits to smaller ones. My thoughts are that you really can't adjust vibrancy and all those other things before the white balance. You'd just have to adjust them again after correcting the WB. That's just how I do things and it works for me.

White balance is typically the second thing you do, right after croping.

Just makes me wonder why the write-ups I've read suggest setting WB at the end. I questioned the first one I read but received no reply. When I read it again the other day I decided to pose the question here. Cheers.... |
