Printing photos - best print shop/site? UK/ West London

I haven't printed any photos for a long time. Local Ealing shops produce photos which show quite strong colour casts so I'm not keen on what's left either.

I am not keen on using home printer as I have so many to print off but also i can never get printer to co-operate when I want it to (1000++ - it's been a long time). Photos safely saved and backed up but I've given up using adobe to catalogue them as the tags don't ever seem to save and I lose them. I've just deleted huge lament describing my inability to manipulate reluctant and unco-operative computers. Basically i am not a happy computer to coax it all to print photos in colours that are realistic.

Who do people recommend to print their photos -shops/online - mostly 'holiday photos' but we travel far and wide so have an interesting collection of photos. I'd also like to print a few larger prints too - Dot Foundry near Swansea has been recommended for larger printing but it's too far. I'd like to be able to go to a reception and work out what I want printed with someone who knows what they are talking about!

We used to have an acceptable shop in Ealing but it closed.

Do people even use print places any more or is everyone doing it at home?

Struggling here too in Corby. I currently use Jessops in Northampton. Any advice here would be a great help.
