Default Help please

I very much a rookie when it comes the world of post processing and have a request for you experts out there... is it possible on the attached B&W image to make the sky blue, or possibly the grass green, just one or the other. Looking to spice it up a little bit, tried to search through the help guide on my photoshop program but either I didnt search right or dont understand the helpful links I did find.

Thanks

The easiest way to do that would be to duplicate the layer before converting to B&W. Once you have fine tuned the B&W layer to your desired result you can use the eraser tool to remove the portions that you would like to revert back to color.

Amazingly simple technique I learned just a few weeks ago.

The following capture was an experiment that I used that layer technique on a while back.
