Default Need advice

Hi I did two shoots this weekend pretty much the same way and one was better than the other some of the party pics I took were hard because of the lighting indoors and the windows and the sun going down. Plus for some reason flas was acting up so I have two questions
One I am going to attach a picture but I had to use a higher ISO so it wouldnt be really dark I played around with auto ISO but ended up using 400 most of the time, so of pictures came out ok so came out with more of the noise/grain type look. Since I cant redo a part what is a good way to reduce this so they can be printed better, I printed a few of the photos and it isnt to bad small just when you get into the larger prints. I wanted to use a lower ISO but the lighting just wouldnt be good.

Second, while using the camera both days (I have canon rebel xs) I would be taking photos (used mostly P mode as well as apapture and shutter speed modes) and if I wanted to snap one and then immediatly snap another one a few of the times it said Busy for the flash and wouldnt let me take the picture??? Has never done that before but I usually take photos outside so need some help or advice thank you.

There are plugins for the popular photo editing programs for noise reduction. If you use photoshop look at noiseninja or just google.

Flashes have a recycle time. Cheap flashes and especially on-camera flash can have a recycle time in the seconds at high output levels. You just have to wait for them to charge. Faster recycle times are one benefit of more expensive flash units and more complex setups.

I would also look at metering off the brides dress so you get that exposure correct.

You definitely need to invest in a external flash and learn how to bounce it and control the light. Here is a great website: http://oneperfectmoment.com/blog/

Neat Image is a wonderful program. However, if you use the free version it will only do small file size photos. Some of the other noise reduction programs (maybe noise ninja?) do not have this limitation.

The noise reduction in Lightroom 3 is excellent, plus of course it will do most of the processing you need as well. You can download a free 30 day trial as well of it so you can see if you like it.
I don't know about this, I guess I am asking as much for me as you, would it have been possible to use reflectors to bounce back the light from outside rather than use a flash?

I've shot in similar situations; a room that is all windows, later in the day. Sure, you can use reflectors, but honestly I would got with an on-camera flash for fill if you are moving around, it's just more convenient. I used one attached t the hotshoe with a cord, which works but is a bit unwieldy and honestly is probably not worth the extra hassle.
