Default Need help understanding......

So I just bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.0 and have been playing around but I am having some problems with it (or the way I do things). I have figured out how to make different changes and make the photo what I want. The problem is in saving the photo......I can save it to my computer but what way do I need to save it in order to put it on a disk or even post it on DPS? I can not figure this out and would like some help.

Re-size to a suitable size, save as jpg.

You can save it to a disk in whatever format you like, be it a .psd, a tif, or a jpeg.
As for uploading to the web, you need it to be in jpeg format and right dimensions (700 pix max on the long side for showing it here on DPS). If you don't see jpeg as an option when saving an image, it's maybe because it's a 16 bit image, then you need to convert it to 8 bit by choosing Image -> Mode -> 8 Bit.
