Default Adobe Lightroom 3 or Aperture 3???

I have a pc and a mac. On my pc I have CS4 but never used lightroom before. On my mac, I have Aperture 2 and love it but my mac is too slow to process picture.

I like surfing the web and basic stuff with my Mac but it's not fast enough for photo editing so I am leaning more towards Adobe lightroom 3 for my PC because my PC is a lot faster than my Mac.

Do you think I would like Lightroom 3? Which people you think is more superior? Pros and cons?

I've used both, and think LR is better.
Also, keep in mind the integration between LR and PS as it's really easy to send image/work back and forth which, I think, isn't the case with Aperture.

The best thing you could do is download the trial version of LR3 and see for yourself.

good luck.

Yeah, I think i might just do that.

Amazon is selling the Lightroom 3 student and teacher edition for $89 but it will not release till July 31 now, I can also buy from Adobe and it doesn't said there is a release date; does it mean that they have it for sale?

I've used both also and prefer LR. I think at this point I might just be used to how it works. I always had problems with Aperture running slow on my computer and then by the time it didn't, I was pretty well used to LR.

I'd highly recommend trials of both just because it will let you see which runs better (I did find that on the same computer, Aperture 3 ran better than Aperture 2). Some people seem to really like Aperture, and some LR. I have to admit though, for Mac integration I really *want* to love Aperture, but so far, I just haven't been able to. Especially now with the Flickr integration in LR.
