Default Getting rid of things

in the pictures.....

I bought some tile board to use as flooring...one piece wasn't quite wide enough (next time I'll try laying it down in the other direction)

but anyhow, it left a line of course....

outtake picture LOL

but you can see where the two boards are put together:



So what I did was clone it out. Do you think that was the best method? was there something else I could have done to get rid of it other then cloning?

The line in this picture went from the grey sock toward the camera.....

I can't tell there was a line there either. Looks like there might be a little noise in the bottom left part of the reflection if I look closely.

Sometimes with gradients you can run into problems using the clone tool.

I like to use the healing brush for smaller problems and then use the clone tool next to edges (where you would have a problem with the healing brush).

The patch tool would also work well.
