I've got a shot with a lot of nice green grass, but there is a strip of brown dirt. I've got both photoshop and lightroom at my disposal, but I have no idea how I can turn that brown dirt into lush green grass like the rest.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advanced! |

Clone tool should be your best bet.

Ok, I tried out the clone tool, but it seems to copy everything along the same line as the sample, not just the sample. This is a problem for me because the dirt runs in front of a bridge, so the clone tool started bringing the bridge down over the dirt instead of just grass.
Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere so that it will only pull the grass? Thanks, |

You need to adjust the size and hardness of the brush, and continuously re-sample your source area.

Ok... so here it is, you were right about the clone tool, I finally got it figured out. Then I realized I had to deal with the reflection in the lake which I used the healing stamp patch tool thing for.
Yeah... it's still a bit, meh, but I feel it's a decent attempt for my first time ever using Photoshop. Let me know any thoughts/comments/suggestions. Thanks! "Lincoln Park Zoo - Skyline Reflection" Fine Art Print by Tom Aguero [5414945-2] - RedBubble |
