Hi all,
I've got an question about photo processing in Photoshop CS4. I allways use Digital Photo Professional to process my RAW files. When i'm done i'm saving then as an JPEG file. If i'm choosing to put the photo online, i'm adding an watermark. here come's the tricky part... When i open photoshop and open an JPG i've just processed the photography is extremely sharp and the edges (for example a picture of the moon) are extremly pixelized. So to make my make story short: In DDP my pictures are perfect even when i'm saving them as JPG But when i open the picture (edited or not) in photoshop its to sharp and just ugly. If somebody has an awnser please let me know. if you want example's let me know and i will upload then. ( i'm dutch btw, so if they are some grammar problems you'll know the cause )

The sharpening is only applied when i open an picture in photoshop.
Even unedited pictures. And even if i use an raw file straight into photoshop (then he loads camera raw bla bla) then when the picture is done and loaded into photoshop it still is very scharp, and de edges are just pixels. I also tried different resolutions but with no success, maybe if i started using an other photo processing program. |

![]() When i was editing in DDP i allways resize the photo's to 1280x1517. But now when i don't rezise the foto's and open them in photoshop (and don't resize them before opening them in photoshop) they stay the same as in DDP. So thats the solution ![]() Tnx for the reply |
