Default PS Compatibility with Canon 50D
I just purchased the Canon 50D and Photoshop CS4 doesn't know how to read the RAW files! Is there a plug-in I can get to make it work? All I could find on the Adobe website was stuff for the new CS5. Help!

Fire up CS4 and go to Window > Update
ACR needs to be updated

Windows version of ACR update for 50D

Mac version of ACR update for 50D

(Wasn't sure what your OS was so I listed both. Hope this helps.)

I downloaded the camera raw update for Mac...when i double click to open it, i get an error message saying Photoshop doesn't know how to read the file type. Is there a specific folder i need to put the plug-in in so it works?
