Default how do you do these photo collages for your website?

I am sure this is very easy, but how are these photo collages being made? I am seeing alot of these displayed on photographers websites and I am really interested in knowing how to make some for myself. Can this be done in Lightroom?

Thanks,
Sarah

Creating collages in Picasa is really easy. It has a variety of templates and it can be easily adjusted. I'm not sure about doing it in Lightroom though. Sorry.

Thanks Ruel! You are a lifesaver Do you know how to scale down the photos if the collage crops too much of it out? I cannot seem to find an option to do that.

In picasa if you select the photo, then go to Export (at the bottom of the screen) click and you have the choice of exporting at the original size, or change to whatever you want. I would export it to your desk top, then when you open it there, you can click on "edit in picasa" and it will be back in picasa at the new size.
Hope this helps. (and welcome to DPS)

Fore more creative collages, you can use Microsoft Auto Collage. It is very easy to use and you can arrange pictures, select how you want it to llook and do some other things.

They have a 30 days free trial and the full version is only $19

You can download the trial version here:

AutoCollage 2008

And these are sample collages created with the program

I get frustrated with picasa's sometimes because I don't seem to have control over what photo goes where and the shuffle never seems to get it right. unless I'm missing an option that lets you control it.

That microsoft one looks cool. Can you do it without blurry edges? are there other options? Thanks for the tip.

You can always use Picasa and do any additional editing in Photoshop. That is usually what I do. You are able to leave different sized gaps in between the photos. You can do that, and just blur the edges in photoshop.

If you use Flickr, Flickr toys BigHugeLabs: Do fun stuff with your photos will do this (along with a myriad of other fun things to waste days on, if you like! )
