Question re-sizing images

Is there a quick way to re-size images for use on the web, such as here on the forums etc.? Can you re-size in batches or just singly? Is there a one button option for this ?

Your help will be greatfully received. I have been going about it in a long winded way using photoshop. I find it quite frustrating and time consuming.

If you use CS3 and above go to save for web and devices. I use photo mechanics and can batch process to save for web.

Default Batch Resizer

This is the fastest and most convenient I found:

I've been using faststone and photoscape, both are free and have a batch re-sizer. Heuristx's link looks promising though, might have to try that one myself!
