Default How many use Portraiture for retouching?

Thinking about trying it out, looks pretty legit. What are your thoughts?

I don't have Portraiture but I do have one of Imagenomics other programs: Noiseware. It is a fabulous program with loads of controls (most of which I never use) and works like a charm. I don't know how they do it, but I'm sure glad they do. It's a bit pricey, but if you are shooting a lot of portraits I am sure it could pay for itself pretty quickly.

I don't know how I survived without Portraiture! It's an absolutely amazing program. Go ahead and download the trial version - you'll love it! Just be very careful how you use it - go very sparingly and lower the opacity as needed, or you'll end up with plastic people.

Give me a little time to dig up a SOOC and an edit done with it. I'll post in a while - gotta get ready to drop my daughter off at school, while she's there I'll have time to dig something up for ya.

Here you go. I actually went and did a new re-edit on this one so you could see the difference between SOOC, an edit without Portraiture, and and edit with Portraiture. Hope this helps you out.

SOOC:

Edited, using spot healing brush and patch tool on blemishes, undereye circles and stray hairs, and some eye and teeth brightening:

dps

Ran Portraiture on the above edit at the default lowest setting and also lowered the opacity of the level. This is at a much higher opacity than I usually do but this young lady wanted porcelain skin:

The trial version can be downloaded here. It's very, very easy to use. The best tip is to keep a light hand, it's very easy to overdo. As I said in my last post, the work I did on that girl's skin is at a much higher opacity than I usually use.
