Default Stitching photos together in Photoshop CS4

Does anyone know a simplified way to stitch photos together in Photoshop?

Simple compared to what? When I'm stitching photos, I usually just select them all in Lightroom and then send them to Photoshop using the merge to panorama command. In Bridge, you can select all the photos you want to merge, then go to Tools > Photoshop > Photomerge. That will automate the process, and you basically just have to make a few choices (if you want... or you can just click ok to let it select what it thinks are the best settings automatically).

I don't know about photo shop CS4 but in Elements 7, having selected the pictures you go to "file"---New ---photo merge panorama. You then get several choices as to how you want to do it. I don't know if this helps.
