Default EXIF from RAW Problem ...

I'm having a little problem here; it's more frustrating than anything else.

I shoot RAW + JPG. I use Photoshop 7 (because it's what I have) to import the RAW files & process them. I convert to 8-bits per channel, then Save As (NOT "save for web") (usually, it's the original file name with something added onto the end, like P12345sm.jpg).

There is no EXIF information in the newly saved .jpg. Instead, I have to use Exifer to import the EXIF data from the original JPG file into the new one. Unfortunately, I also have to re-create the EXIF thumbnail. Everything's great until that point - when I recreate the thumbnail it over-writes the creation time from when the photo was originally taken to when the thumbnail was created.

I found GeoSetter, which will at least get me the correct time in the new .jpg, BUT it a) doesn't always work and b) doesn't let me import the rest of the EXIF information.

Is there anything out there that will do what I need it to do - import the EXIF info with the correct time?
