Default HDR image retouch in PS cs4

Hello,

I shot a hdr panorama but I have a tripod shadow in it that I would like to remove. Any ideea what I should try? I use PS CS4.

The clone/stamp/healing brush. With out seeing the image it's hard to say what would work best.

I'm gonna be totally honest: crop it to just where the tripod legs meet the head, then clone whats left out.

This is just 20% of a full spherical panorama. That is why I have the stretchig at the bottom. So I need every pixel. I can not crop it out.

if you don't want to crop, you can just use the rubber stamp tool to remove the shadow. like this. i straghitened the horizon after cloning the shadow.

Thanks for the advice. I used the clone tool to fix it. But there is one more thing to fix.

I would copy the layer and mask the tripod area then adjust exposure, etc until it matched the rest of the image. It'll take a little longer but you don't have to crop and it will look really good if you're careful. You may have to clone literally a few pixels to smooth the edges between the two but you'll keep the real rock pattern.
